Through the Capable Partners Program (CAP) Associate Award USAID/Liberia NGO Strengthening Assistance Project, AED strengthens the capacity of local NGOs to mitigate conflict and promote recovery, stability, and reform in Liberia . Working with USAID implementing partners and Liberian NGOs, CAP 1) promotes good governance within NGOs, 2) strengthens the organizational capacity of local NGOs, and 3) assists international PVOs in strengthening effective partnerships with local NGOs by providing mentoring in organizational development and reinforcing good organizational practices.
