Marty Schmith is a Program Officer in the Capable Partners Program (CAP). Her professional experience entails working with refugees and internally displaced persons in a variety of contexts, including facilitating organizational development and assessment processes, implementing a distance learning program in community management techniques, and managing a volunteer program for resettled refugees. She has worked in Thailand, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, and Taiwan. Marty has a Master of Arts in Law & Diplomacy from the Fletcher School, Tufts University. She concentrated on International Development and NGO Management, and wrote a thesis examining capacity development strategies within SNGO-NNGO partnerships.
